Brandon Kruse graduated from Parsons School of Design in 1989 and soon thereafter began working as an illustrator, book designer, art director, and comic book artist. Quite by accident he landed a job as a storyboard artist on The Tick and has worked in animation ever since.

Brandon has worked as a director, storyboard artist, character designer, prop designer, background designer, and writer. His clients include Nickelodeon, Frederator, Cartoon Network, Fox TVA, Disney Television, Hasbro, Sony Pictures, Sunbow Entertainment, Nick Jr,  and Renegade Animation. Brandon received an Emmy nomination for writing on My Life as a Teenage Robot and an Annie Nomination for storyboarding on Fairly OddParents. Brandon also serves on the board of Open Figure Drawing and has been a presenter at A Sense of Drawing 2014 and 2015.

When he's not making cartoons, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children, playing disc golf, playing actual golf, drawing obsessive little maps of imaginary worlds, and exploring the beauty of Central New York.
